Bachelor of business administration at Universidad Autonoma de Bucaramanga. He also took part  in the Top Management Program at Universidad de los Andes; he has attended several seminars, particularly in investment banking and capital markets. 

He has more than 20 years of professional experience specially in the Colombian financial market, where he has held several positions:  at Corporacion Financiera de Santander in the Treasury and Credit departments;  also  in the Regional Management at  the Corporacion Financiera Nacional, Suramericana , and as  West Zone Regional Manager at Corporación Financiera de Caldas.

As an associate consultant of Valor & Estrategia in the city of Cali, he has collaborated in numerous processes of valuation, acquisitions, sales and financial structuring of companies.
